Meeting at the National Center for Metallurgical Research (CENIM-CSIC) with Dr. Angeles Arenas Vara was the focus of the discussion within the solution of the Mobility SAS-SCIS joint challenge project, which started this year. During the meeting, lectures focused on introducing the institute, or of individual divisions and the results achieved so far in the dual laser welding of selected duplex steels, including the analysis of their pitting corrosion, for which the Spanish side is responsible. The second visit was to the IMDEA Materials Institute for prof. Javier Llorca, with whom we would like to establish cooperation within the currently leading topic of hydrogen resistance of HEA and CCA alloys. Ing. Beronská presented the institute and Ing. Kamyshnykova outlined a possible cooperation within the challenges of Horizon Europe. The discussion was successful and we believe that we will continue this dynamic exchange of ideas and stimulating thoughts in the coming months. We are looking forward to our cooperation.
